RELIGIOUSNESS DIFFERENCES AND ASSOCIATIONS OF BELIEFS AND PRACTICES: MUSLIMS IN RELIGIOUS AND NON-RELIGIOUS WORK ENVIRONMENTS

This study addressed the following four questions: Does influence of Islam is highly prevalent in life Malay Muslims Brunei? Is level religiousness high? Are their religious beliefs associated with practices? there any differences between employees work environment (RWE) and non-religious (NRWE)? Using responses from 370 Muslim employees, several measures were analyzed. Analyses done to determine descriptive statistics, correlations, group differences. Findings showed that was at all levels. They reported not only personal level, but also both upbringing organizational Religiousness high, while practices interrelated. RWE observed have higher Islamic relative those NRWE. These findings highlight a theistic society where already nature can still potentially play role making difference.
